Magento Master Password extension enables you to login to customer accounts with a global "master password" or through the Magento administrative area via a "Login As" button on the customer information page. This makes responding to certain customer support requests easier and allows you to make changes to customer accounts on behalf of customers even if such functionality is not available in the administrative area. Magento Master Password was written with ease of use and security in mind.

Look at Magento Connect and compare the features/options/prices/reviews/etc. of other similar extensions. Yes, there are some cheaper alternatives. But for an extra $20 or $30, you get a rock solid product and some really nice features that no other extension has. And it's the only one that allows you to log into the front-end with a single-click from the customer page in the admin panel. That's a really nice bonus!

- We like our customer reps to be able to login as a customer to view things exactly how they do. We use the "login as" functionality for this purpose (not the master password). It works exactly as advertised and saved us from writing a custom solution. Definitely worth the money if you need this functionality. (Posted on 5/3/2012)
